For the greater part of last year I have been dedicating some time to a project that I have always had a strong conviction towards (like any any passionate entrepreneur I guess), but not just for the sake of creating value but also to also solves an ongoing problem in the world’s largest and most rapidly developing continent.
What’s the goal: Slow Brain Drain
Let’s address the problems as they are, the main issue that Africa faces right now is that their cream-of-the-crop, their exemplars, the smartest and brightest don’t remain in the continent. The majority of them would yearn for an opportunity abroad and to have that chance to better themselves in life – which is fair.
So this venture program catered to talented Africans seeks to curtail this issue and address the pressing issue of brain drain and skills flight.
The program, as a structure, is 85% complete and we’ll be going live very soon. Luckily, I have the great opportunity of collaborating with some great partners who will be serving as advisers.
2019 is looking up to be a great year for Africa! 🌍
