Great to see Dan Primack moderating this powerful panel of major Venture Capitalist. Warning: It’s an hour long!
The panel titled “Venture Capital and the Year of the Unicorn IPOs” brings some heavyweights in the VC industry. Especially since they’re having a a banner year with more than $100 billion in venture capital investments in the US alone—and with some of the most prominent private equity-backed companies expected to go public in 2019—venture capital’s future couldn’t be more exciting. Here are some of the questions that will be asked that I got off of the event’s website:
- But what does the continued growth of private equity mean for investors’ constant challenge to pick and help build winners?
- As the length of time that companies stay private increases, how do you think about growth and financing?
- What does a high concentration of capital in mega-rounds and funds mean for investors and managers, as well as the small spectrum of the VC industry?
